Our store in Waging am See is an attraction for cheese lovers. Here you can sample and buy your favourite sort of cheese. Maybe you will even discover a new variety or an especially delicious combination of wine and cheese.
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 – 13:00 and 13:30 – 18:00
Saturday: 8:30 – 12:30
We are closed on Sundays and holidays.
Cheese academy
Bergader is renowned for its extraordinary cheese. Yet only few people know that our cheeses are artisan products. Even today, there are many production processes that Bergader master cheese makers carry out manually. After all, it is diligent handling that makes our cheese so tasty. The skills and the right touch of our cheese specialists are the basis for cheese of consistently high quality.

Cheese library
About 30 years ago, Bergader’s managing director, Beatrice Kress, started a collection on the company’s history. The exhibits include photographs documenting 100 years of corporate history as well as international literature about cheese. Visitors are very welcome to view the exhibition at our cheese library.
