Products from Bavaria are known worldwide for their taste, quality and excellence. Our recipes are steeped in tradition. They are based on top-quality milk from the Bavarian Alpine Foreland and require the diligence, craftsmanship and experience of our master cheese makers, who carry out a number of production tasks themselves. All this makes for a solid foundation for the successful export of our products.
The cheese specialities from Waging am See increasingly find their way into deli counters and self-service shelves around the globe. Bergader Edelpilz, Bavaria blu, Bergader Mini brie, Bonifaz and Basils Original smoked cheese as well as Caciotta, soft cheese in brine and Kashkaval are sold in more than 50 countries. The export share of Bergader’s cheese specialities currently amounts to 40 percent.
Bergader’s most important export markets are Italy, Spain, Austria, Sweden, Eastern Europe and Russia. The company’s sophisticated sales and marketing structure ensures the smooth and timely delivery of our products. In Italy, a strategically important market for Bergader, the Bavarian cheese products are delivered anywhere in the country within 48 hours from a distribution platform in Verona.

Bergader showcases its product range at all major trade fairs in Europe, such as Anuga in Cologne, InterMopro in Dusseldorf, Cibus Parma, Tutto-Food in Milan, Sial Paris, IFE in London and Prodexpo in Moscow. This is where food experts can sample the unique Bavarian flavour and excellence of Bergader’s cheese specialties.
