Bonifaz for the deli counter
Bonifaz is a creamy and delicate soft cheese with fine white mould and a number of exquisite ingredients. It is made from fresh milk obtained from farms in our vicinity. Our master cheese makers produce Bonifaz using traditional artisan methods.
What’s so special about Bonifaz:
Fresh milk from local farms and a number of exquisite ingredients are responsible for the unique flavour of Bonifaz. This specialty is produced with artisan methods following a family tradition. Bonifaz was the first soft cheese to be produced in different flavours. Today, it is the leading soft cheese with white mould and ingredients at the deli counter. It is named after the legendary arch bishop Bonifatius, who loved the hospitality of Bavarian Benedictine monasteries. In particular, he appreciated the delicious cheese he was offered there.
